Storytelling for Leaders – June 2018, Brisbane
Storytelling is quickly being realised as an essential skill in business. When done right (and well) stories save time, demystify strategies and make messages stick.
In 2013, Laurie Lawrence won the Senior Australian of the Year Award for his lifesaving program, Kids Alive – Do the Five. In this interview after winning the award, Laurie tells a moving story of why he started the program.
Some people are natural storytellers, as Laurie seems to be. Others need help. All of us need practice. I’ll be running a public Storytelling for Leaders program in Brisbane next month on Monday 11th June.
If you want storytelling skills, practice and feedback then you can get tickets here. If you’d like to catch up while I’m in Queensland, drop me a line at people@anecdote.com.
